art consultancy

Art is beautiful – but it's a lot of work

The saying refers to the creation of art – and applies to how we deal with it. Do you need assistance? Tell me what you need, and we will find a good solution. Whether you are buying, owning or selling art, I am here to advise and assist you.

Art is a matter of trust.

My professional background is not in art dealing, but in museums. This sets me apart from other art consultants and allows me to contribute specialised experience to the usual service profile. Find out more in this short video.

For 27 years, I worked in museums in Germany and the United States, most recently as head of the glass collection at the Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf. I conceived the exhibitions „Glass of the Alchemists“ in Corning, USA, in 2008 and „Art and Alchemy“ in Düsseldorf in 2014. Since 2016, I have been a member of the vetting committee of the TEFAF art fair in Maastricht; since 2017, I have been an expert on the television programme „Kunst + Krempel“ (Art + Junk). I am a member of the Professional Association of Art Experts I also manage a forestry business and take care of the maintenance of Barntrup Castle.
